Terms of use

Last updated 29 July 2026. These terms govern use of Capture Live Caption (the “Software”) and this website.

1. Free edition

The Free edition is for personal, non-commercial use. It allows one registered target window. Send may show upgrade notices. No account is required.

2. Pro edition

Pro is licensed for a fixed term (1, 2, or 3 years) measured from the time you redeem a purchase code in the app — not from purchase. Pro allows unlimited targets, commercial use, and removes Send upgrade notices. One purchase code licenses one Machine ID (one PC) at a time.

When a term expires, the Software reverts to Free limits. Your local transcript and settings are not deleted.

3. Transfers and reissues

Licenses are non-transferable except via Support reissue for a new PC. Reissue clears the old Machine ID binding, preserves remaining term, and returns the code to pending redemption so you can redeem on the new machine.

4. Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer license checks for the purpose of circumventing term or Machine ID limits, redistribute cracked builds, or abuse payment systems.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled manually by Support. Contact us with your order details. If approved, we refund through the payment provider and revoke the purchase code.

6. No warranty

The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Use at your own risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiveCaptionSaver is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Software or this site.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@livecaptionsaver.com.
